Therapeutic Properties of Serpentine

Serpentine is also known by the names Ophiolite, Za-tu-mush-gir, and Williamsite.

Italian peasants believed that carrying Serpentine pebbles protected them from the venom of poisonous creatures. They also believed that to have its power, serpentine pebbles must be in their natural state and untouched by iron.

Legends say that when Serpentine is worn around a nursing mother's neck, it improves milk production.

Serpentine influences the 4th and 7th Chakras. Serpentine is said to clear cloudy Chakras and help move the flow of energy through the Crown Chakra (7th) into the energy vortex of the body.

Serpentine is often used in stress-reduction. It is useful in getting rid of parasites and unhealthy microbes from the body.
